“An extraordinary tropical idyll: thrillingly remote, mesmerically beautiful and above all, wonderfully friendly” -Condé Nast Traveller
Situated halfway between Hawaii and New Zealand, the Cook Islands are comprised of fifteen droplets of land cast across 2 million square kilometers of wild blue Pacific ocean and are at once simultaneously remote and accessible, traditional and modern. Rarotonga is the beating heart of this impossibly beautiful archipelago. Referred to as “the pearl of the south pacific,” Raro, as she is called, is the stuff dreams are made of- epic, jungle-clad mountains cascade to shimmering, sapphire blue lagoons and spectacular coral reefs teeming with colorful sea life. Secluded white sand beaches sparkle and contrast dramatically against the volcanic peaks and lush rainforest landscapes that define her interior. Beyond the stunning natural beauty, Rarotonga is the spiritual and cultural center of the Cook Islands, her people, true lovers of life and the epitome of warmth and welcoming. Here, time slows to the pace of nature, inviting you to relax and rediscover the joy of simply being.
“Incredible experience. Soulful and nourishing.” -Neelu
“Dear Kim- I’m not sure words can express the gratitude I feel in my heart. After a retreat with you, you come home filled with joy, wonder and gratitude. With love, kindness and patience you give each of your students the tools we need in a wonderful atmosphere and space. Every pose in a yoga class, meditation, lecture, song, ritual is like a magic wand that opens our heart, heals our body and embraces our spiritual journey. We learn how to be with ourselves, how to listen to our hearts, how to be grateful for the moment. Thank you.” -Paloma

Daily yoga classes are designed to support students in exploring and deepening their practice. Sessions can range from slow, deep stretching and therapeutic themes, to more challenging, vinyasa flow style classes. Morning meditations offer participants an opportunity to experience a range of techniques emphasizing simple methods that can be integrated into daily life.
Certified yoga instructor, Thai yoga massage therapist and CYR founder, Kim Wolff, will lead our daily yoga and meditation classes, providing gentle guidance and focused support while allowing space for each student to find their own connection to the practice. Soulful and playful by nature, Kim’s class sessions are based on classical Hatha yoga philosophy, postures, breathwork and the principles of Ayurveda. Organic aromatherapy is used as a therapeutic tool to assist with the process of healing and transformation. The experience is one that is intuitive, fluid and dynamic- designed to empower you in evolving your practice to the next level. Learn more about Kim’s yoga philosophy and teaching style.
All cuisine served during our retreat will highlight fresh, local, seasonal, organic ingredients and will be primarily vegetarian + pescatarian with vegan and gluten free options available. Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, Raro’s fishermen venture beyond the reef before sunrise- an ancient custom that has earned Rarotonga a reputation for creating some of the best cuisine in the Pacific. Freshly caught seafood comes straight from the crystal clear, pure ocean waters, and is prepared simply with delicious local produce grown in the nutrient rich, volcanic island soil- an experience that delights the palate and nourishes body and soul.
Our culinary journey will begin each day with a healthy, high-vibe tropical breakfast offering a selection of organic fruit, granola, yogurt, artisan bread, tea and coffee, served on-site at our retreat center. Lunch and dinner will either be served in house or at specially selected locations in and around the island. We’ll have the opportunity to partake of traditional fare cooked in earthen ovens, enjoy a fresh fish bbq on the beach, indulge in an evening of fine dining at Rarotonga’s “Restaurant of the Year,” and savor a seaside supper right on the sand to allow for optimal sunset viewing- a magical experience not to be missed. We’ll also visit the Muri Night Market which features a great selection of food stalls where we’ll sample local cuisine while enjoying live music under the stars.
