- Practice With Me
“Our starting point was Fez, undoubtedly Morocco’s greatest jewel.” –The Caliph’s House, Tahir Shah
Known as the “gem” of Morocco, the Imperial city of Fez, a UNESCO world heritage site, is widely considered to be the spiritual, culinary, musical and intellectual soul of Morocco. It’s also the world’s most ancient, fully-functioning, car-free walled city. Magical and mysterious, the old Fez medina is marked by a labyrinth of 9,400 meandering alleyways that spark the imagination and reveal hidden charms at every turn. A feast for the senses, Fez embodies the aromas, flavors, sights and sounds of an entire nation. It’s a place where life moves to the rhythm of centuries old traditions- a true rarity in today’s fast paced world.
“The retreat in Fez, Morocco, was an exotic and magical experience. We practiced yoga, ate like royalty, and were transported back to a distant time. Fez and the surrounding countryside were enchanting. I feel very grateful for this wonderful experience.” -Nancy T.
“This was a fantastic retreat with so much love, energy and a week filled with Moroccan food and cooking adventures, well designed yoga and meditation practices. I was dazzled and thrilled by Morocco, made wonderful friends and came away energized and enthralled.” -Julie T.

Centrally located in the heart of old Fez, our outstanding location is an oasis within the hustle and bustle of the medina that allows you to be near it all, but tucked away enough to enjoy a peaceful respite when naptime beckons. Daily yoga classes are designed to support students in exploring and deepening their practice. Sessions can range from slow, deep stretching and therapeutic, to more challenging, vinyasa flow style classes. Morning meditations offer participants an opportunity to experience a range of techniques emphasizing simple methods that can be integrated into daily life.
Certified yoga instructor, Thai yoga massage therapist and CYR founder, Kim Wolff, will lead our daily yoga and meditation classes, providing gentle guidance and focused support while allowing space for each student to find their own connection to the practice. Soulful and playful by nature, Kim’s class sessions are based on classical Hatha yoga philosophy, postures, breathwork and the principles of Ayurveda. Organic aromatherapy is used as a therapeutic tool to assist with the process of healing and transformation. The experience is one that is intuitive, fluid and dynamic- designed to empower you in evolving your practice to the next level. To read testimonials from Kim’s students, click here.
Fez is the Culinary capital of Morocco, it’s vibrant souks overflowing with a stunning array of incredibly fresh food of all variety- the very definition of local and seasonal. Restaurants showcase the best in both traditional and contemporary cuisine with influences from Africa, Arabia, France and Spain. Street stalls tempt with myriad offerings from freshly made goat cheese to warm and fragrant flatbread, succulent olives, and all manner of sweet treats. We’ll feast on traditional Fassi favorites prepared by the chef at our B&B, learn how to make a classic Moroccan meal during our cooking school excursion, dine out in some of the top restaurants in Fez, tour the souks and indulge in a sumptuous lunch in the pilgrimage village of Moulay Idriss.
Breakfast is prepared from scratch each morning and features freshly squeezed orange juice, seasonal fruits, yogurt, local goat cheese and honey, olives, eggs, homemade Moroccan breads, jams, coffee and tea. The olives and olive oil come direct from the Zalagh mountains surrounding Fez, and the olive oil is stone pressed by hand – perfect for dipping with bread. All meals will be delicious, flavorful, fresh and healthy. Vegetarian / Vegan and non-vegetarian options will be offered. So that maximum enjoyment and benefits of the retreat can be experienced by all, we encourage mindful moderation with regards to alcohol consumption and invite you to explore the process and pleasure of partaking within the context of the cultural experience.
