“Every once in awhile, you can feel a place having a moment. For Mexico City, that moment is now.” – Condé Nast Traveler
Vogue magazine calls it the “coolest megalopolis in the world” for a reason- there’s a Kahlo-esque bohemianism and electricity in the air, resulting from a major surge of creativity and national pride that’s positioned Mexico City as one of the world’s cultural powerhouses. It’s a place where old world tradition and history co-exist happily with a youthful enthusiasm for all things new and fresh. From its game-changing art and design scenes to the beautiful colonial architecture, mural-covered museums, colorful craft markets and singularly inspiring + incredibly complex culinary movement, this thrilling city beckons you to come and play, to be mesmerized by her sensual side and to fall in love with her completely irresistible, myriad charms.

Our boutique B&B has a very unique + prime location situated in the Centro Histórico district, a UNESCO world heritage site, that puts us right in the heart of the city in a beautifully restored 1920’s art deco building with views of leafy Alameda park and several architectural landmarks. Conveniently located just steps away, are many major attractions including the Palacio Bellas Artes, Metropolitan Cathedral, Museo Franz Mayer, the Aztec ruins at Museo Templo Mayor and the city’s epicenter and main square- the Zócalo. The lively, bustling atmosphere is enhanced by the surrounding shops, restaurants, galleries and street vendors + there’s easy access to public transportation for those who wish to venture out on their own. Our outstanding location allows you to feel immersed in the energy of the city with the option of retiring to the peace and privacy of your tranquil guest room or indulging in some downtime on the rooftop terrace. View map.
Our B&B is imbued with a modern Mexican design aesthetic that emphasizes clean lines and the use of natural materials. The light filled common spaces are accented with lots of plants and colorful textiles, while the pretty breakfast room overlooks the city. There’s a library + lounge area, a sunny inner courtyard and a rooftop terrace graced with a greenhouse containing fresh herbs and edible plants as well as hammocks for your lounging pleasure. On the ground floor of the building, you’ll find two restaurants, a mezcal joint, an ice cream parlor and much more.
Airy and bright, each guest room boasts views of either Alameda Park or the sunlit inner courtyard and feature private, spa-like bathrooms. Comfy beds are dressed with 100% crisp cotton linens. Also included are in-room safes, and while we recommend unplugging during your stay, all rooms do have free Wi-Fi and there are computers and tablets available for use as well. Our B&B’s stellar bilingual staff offers 24/7 assistance, including wake up calls.
*Due to the building’s 1920’s era design, there is no handicap access for this retreat venue. As an historic building with no elevator, guests are required to reach their rooms via stairs. Rest assured that we make every effort to accommodate those that have difficulty with stairs. Staff is available 24/7 to transport guest’s luggage to and from their rooms.
